Anyone, even you, can be charged with a criminal offense. It may be brought by mistake or misidentification, by your association with others, or by right. If you believe yourself to be exposed to criminal prosecution, be it during an investigation, arrest or formal charging, you should immediately seek the assistance of an experienced attorney. A knowledgeable attorney can counsel you through the legal process, ensure that your Constitutional rights are protected, mitigate your exposure and establish your innocence.
Criminal offenses are classified as either misdemeanors or felonies. |Class 2: 0 – 6 mos; up to $1,000 fine||Class 2: 20yrs – Life; up to $100,000 fine|

|Class 5: 1yr – 10yrs; up to $2,500 fine|
|Class 6: 0yrs – 5yrs; up to $2,500 fine|
|Class “U”: “unclassified” offense (misdemeanor or felony), which means the range of punishment does not fit a standard class – set by statute.|
